Intern Architect AIBC, M. Arch, B.F.A.

“I can't understand why people are frightened of new ideas. I'm frightened of the old ones.” – John Cage

Anne found her way to the discipline of architecture through Fine Arts studies. As a graduate of the Painting program at the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design and the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Environmental Design, Anne’s personal and professional interests lie at the intersection of function, craft, and imagination.

A Prairie transplant to the West Coast, Anne has also enjoyed opportunities to study and travel in other parts of the world – experiences to which she credits her motivation to become more inquisitive and reflective in her approach. She enjoys incorporating these personal experiences to the rigours and technical challenges of creating detailed custom residential environments for LAI’s exclusive clientele. Anne appreciates the opportunity to work with clients to facilitate and advise in the development of a unique set of aspirations specific to each project.
