In the Creekside area of Whistler sits this modern interpretation of the traditional ski chalet. Eschewing any clichés, the home nonetheless pays homage to more traditional alpine buildings through the extensive use of wood products, which bring warmth and modern elegance to both interior and exterior. A magnificent gabled great room is the heart of this family retreat, and its clerestory windows create a cozy lantern-like effect as daylight fades.
Notable features: hybrid wood and steel trusses, Douglas fir, bluestone, custom oak handrails and stair treads
