VANCOUVER, BC  |  SIZE: 7,000 SF  |  YEAR: 2016

In deference to its spectacular, steep West Vancouver site, this home is creatively wrapped around an exposed bedrock cliff. Case in point: the residence connects to a garage by way of a glass bridge, which bypasses a large granite rock formation near the entry. Designed around the only level portion of the entire property, the entry courtyard, this modern passion project has expansive ocean views, and its extensive use of copper cladding reflects the client’s interest in this ancient material’s natural patina process.
